Diagnostic Darran - Ford Mondeo 1.6 Diesel

This week Darran saved a customer purchasing a new injector by using the Ecomax Dual and the RTG Diesel Premixed Fluid to restore the injector to read the correct PSI.
Set Up-
The vehicle (Ford Mondeo 1.6 Diesel) had already been previously inspected and was diagnosed with a slight misfire and in need of a new injector. Darran located the fuel connections, white supply and red return, and disconnected the fuel supply, returning it with a fuel pressure gauge.
During-
Darran set the pressure to 20psi and started the car leaving it to run for a round 1 hour. During this time, he occasionally revved the vehicle to help force more of the cleaner through.
After-
The car was taken for a drive and new injector reading were taken. Each injectors PSI was 1/100th between each other. This saved the customer having to buy new injector parts!
