A universal system for the removal and installation of Suspension Bushes, Bearings, Seals etc
By selecting the appropriate diameter sleeves, the bush / bearing / seal is ˜Pressed, or ˜Pulled by the action of turning the spindle nuts in opposing directions. Fully universal applications for Cars, LCVs HGVs etc, with a range of kit options to suit individual requirements.
Press & Pull Sleeve Kits can be used in the following formats:
As a stand alone set of tools
With a standard workshop press
With a Universal Press Frame (187000V2)
With a Universal C Clamp (18780200)
Can also be used with selected model specific Press Piece sets and in conjunction with optional hydraulic upgrade kits
All components are available individually as spare parts
When used in conjunction with components from 08780000, or 08797500, these kits allow application of up to 12 tons of hydraulic force which can be used to provide a controlled force in place of the manual or mechanical effort required when using 08780000 / 08797500
Contents:
- Hollow Ram Hydraulic Cylinder, Alignment washer and 2x extra-long heavy-duty spindles that are rated for use with the hydraulic ram. (Note: Standard 08780000 spindles are not rated for use with the 18782500 and / or 18792500 hydraulic ram)
